John Becker, the AMAZING, Sauk Trail, magic, music teaching Man on keys and also some drums; the most grooving drummer around Mr Jim Huwe; JazzBassMama Laurie Lang on Bass; Jan Wheaton -vocals will stop by to sing a few holiday tunes to warm the stage and MHS grand alumni, Chance Stine on saxophone will appear as well as all the wonderful students of MHS music program and others who want a piece of the action.
You’re invited to a live jazz show, Christmas Jam for Freedom, with the
Betsy Ezell Quartet this Saturday, December 16 at Stamm House in Middleton at 9pm to 10:30pm.,
The Band: Betsy Ezell on vocals & guitar; Laurie Lang on bass, Becca May Grant on keys and Jim Huwe on drums.
We’ll start with an acoustic set of Christmas tunes at 9pm and then do some swinging jazz for the second half. The show is a fundraiser for Dressember, which supports International Justice Mission and A21, both incredible organizations seeking to free women, children and men trapped in slavery. $10 suggested donation.
The Stamm House has a great upstairs room which makes for a wonderful, warm and cozy spot for a concert–and food and drinks if you like. 🙂
